Exploring navigation and new UI for OneRM, a CRM platform
The Solution
An abstract summary was created that Shown are several new UI navigational approaches focusing mainly on design and aesthetics. All solutions are leveraging appropriate brand certified colors and font solutions.
The Problem
The OneRM CRM platform is in an award stage. The platform is currently moving through a hefty feature rich growth phase and slowly exiting a Proof-of-concept. The system is starting to support enterprise marketing solutions for large Microsoft divisions such as OneDrive, OneNote, Office, Skype, and Windows divisions. Consolidation of the many aspects of the system has started primarily via i-framing the system together and compiling the navigation into a nav-drawer accessible via the “Hamburger” icon in the top left of the platform screen.
The product is current in use by as many as 100+ marketers in Microsoft from multiple divisions. Additionally, there are ongoing product demonstrations as a homegrown counterpart to Salesforce Marketing Cloud to leadership in all divisions in Microsoft from Xbox to Office. A decision was made to “Slow” the UI growth and show minimal change to the platforms UI and rather focus on solving UX problems. Given this slow approach making changes and effort is underway to make a leap when ready forwards in the global experience of the platform.
